Straight outta France, dream popster Anthony Gonzalez's M83 is following up the fantastic 2008 album 'Saturdays=Youth' with a 22-track double disc called 'Hurry Up, We're Dreaming,' out Oct. 18, via Mute. Gonzalez says this time around he was inspired by Smashing Pumpkins' 1995 double album 'Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.' I'm not a follower of the Pumpkins. Still, I'm loving this preview song available for download below. "Midnight City" is more of that '80s synth I'm a sucker for. I would put this right up there with previous singles "Graveyard Girl" and "Kim & Jessie."
