Enjoy the unbridled enthusiasm of 60 children from rural western Canada tackling one of David Bowie's classics in music class, circa 1976. This warms the cockles of my heart. To Hans Fenger, the teacher behind these recordings, I thank you. As for Mr. Bowie, you will never be forgotten.

Love this album.
It's my sister's birthday today too. She was a huge Bowie fan, but as she's just turned 64 I bought her a canvas framed quote from a Beatles song. No prizes for guessing which one.
Hi Rol. Something from Revolution 9, obviously. I share a birthday with Whoopi. So I'm not sweating it either. Seriously, I love this album too. The liner notes are spectacular. I got this around 9/11, and it really played with my emotions. Optimism won out in the end.
I tossed a coin for either birthday or anniversary of the world's loss...the later won out.
There's something chilling about the Langley Schools Music Project version of Space Oddity.
Delightful. And a lovely birthday tribute to the man.
Lovely stuff. Heard this before but had no idea it was such an old recording. Classy tribute.
Chilling is indeed the right word.
Sounds distinctly like Arcade Fire to me.
