Interesting. Some of those are on my radar, others are completely new so I'll have to investigate. I see that new Granite Shore record came out; will have to check that out as I really liked the last one (on your recommendation).
Enough there to keep me busy for a while. I have ordered The Luxembourg Signal album. I also need to hang my head in shame as I totally missed the release of the Real Estate album.
So great to see the love for the Nick Heyward album... bit surprised The Blow Monkeys album didn't seem to get the same attention...continuing their re-ascendance!

George, Molly Burch seems to be the big winner with readers this year. You won't be disappointed. Captured Tracks knows how to find great artists. I have many favorites from their stable of stars.
McPop, Many surprises here. Not that you name them but that they exist at all. I knew nothing of new Sweet or Game Theory. Game Theory? How? I just read up on it and am intrigued. I will pick that one up. You have a couple of others here that were candidates that just missed, especially Sea Pinks and the Bats. This was the first time I didn't buy a new album from New Pornographers. Their last album (or two) have been collecting dust on the shelf. So I passed this time. Dan Bejar has been interesting me more these days. I'm up in the air on the new Neil Finn. He has never missed my list before, and I like what he did with the recording process, but the finished product didn't quite do it for me like past efforts. There are a couple of others here I don't know at all and will check out. As always, thanks for the list. Oh, and that Stephen's Shore 7" made my list last year! Cloudberry does it again!
