Amazed that Andy still did "that dance" even at his advanced age... ;)
Reckon I'll hit them up again when they hit the Danforth music hall. Cheers for the rip, I'll be playing this one tonight!!Grebopnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3815215641735446886.post-85091683076207108882013-02-05T12:18:56.517-05:002013-02-05T12:18:56.517-05:00Hi Echorich. Saw many great shows there.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04321051045499549249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3815215641735446886.post-87702867599162725282013-02-05T00:05:42.627-05:002013-02-05T00:05:42.627-05:00I'll have to wait until the DC show, but I wis...I'll have to wait until the DC show, but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer in Europe to celebrate my 50th by seeing OMD with John Foxx + The Maths in Oxford or Sheffield!!! Maybe the stars will align and JF+TM will be invited to the East Coast shows!!!
I enjoy Junk Culture, but you are right, after the amazing music of Dazzle Ships (my fave OMD album) it was a big change of direction. This is still OMD before the twin devils of John Hughes and Stephen Hague got to them, though, and it's a great album! It's a good example of correct use of Fairlight CMI as well.
